Fighting Talk From Hunt

Jack Hunt has spoken out ahead of tonight's clash between Huddersfield Town & Peterborough United and stated that he would love to beat The Posh tonight by six goal to none. The young defender is one of the remaining players left from the side which lost to Peterborough at Old Trafford two season ago which kept the terriers in League One for another year. Now, with both teams in The Championship, Hunt is looking for some sort of revenge at London Road;

"Things have moved on since we last played Peterborough, but the lads who were there at Old Trafford will certainly want to do well tonight. They deserved their win on the day, but we were hurt from it. From my point of view, I hope we beat them 6-0, but of course, we'll take any kind of victory."

Jack Hunt has excelled in the second tier of English football since the terriers achieved promotion last season and he grabbed his first assist of this campaign on Saturday against Wolves. His cross was met by the head of James Vaughan to give Huddersfield the lead and Hunt is confident that the clubs current strike partnership has plenty of goals in them;

"We've got strikers who are a real handful at this level. You know with them you've always got a chance in games. It's like when Jordan Rhodes was here, you know that if you get the ball into the box then more often than not they'll score."

"James said before the game that I should stop running at people and just get the ball into the box. Last season I seemed to earn a few penalties by going forward, but I'm always happy to get the crosses in and I was glad this one led to a goal. Then Adam Clayton put a great ball in for Jermaine to get a cracker, and we all know what he's capable of doing."

"Neither James nor Jermaine were first choice at their clubs but they are proving a few wrong."

Hunt is set to make his 86th appearance for Huddersfield Town tonight at London Road and with the determination to pick up a victory he is sure going to be a handful for Peterborough.
