Snodin 'Excited' By Hammill

Glynn Snodin today gave his own opinion on Huddersfield Town's latest newboy Adam Hammill who was brought in by Simon Grayson on loan until January from Wolves. The winger has been having a tough time getting into the starting lineup at Wolves but immediately made an impact for the terriers after coming on off the bench only to feature heavily in Town's second goal against Ipswich last week.

The Huddersfield coach, Snodin, admitted that he is excited by the pacey winger and gave his reasons as to why;

"Adam is quick and direct, loves to take people on and will not only create chances, but he's got the ability to take them as well. He is a really exciting player and Simon knows him well from when they were together at Blackpool. Players change as they go along through life and it's fair to say Adam was just very frustrated at Wolves because he hasn't had an opportunity, so we are hoping that we can give him that chance and he will reward us and the fans with the sort of displays we know he can produce."

"Adam is the sort of exciting, thrilling player who will get supporters off their seats, no doubt about that. And he won't shirk his responsibilities. If it doesn't work out first time, second time or even third, he will keep on going until he creates something good. The great thing is that you can be defending on moment and then, give the ball to Adam and you are in the opposition box in three or four seconds and that's what we are looking for – attacking pace and threat and to get up the pitch as quickly as possible."
