Beckford Signs For Terriers On Loan!!

We have finally got him. Jermaine Beckford was all but signed on transfer deadline day for Huddersfield Town but with just five minutes to go, Leicester City pulled a plug on the deal to the annoyance of many. However, Grayson has never given up the chase and today he has got his man, Beckford, on an emergency 93 day loan from the Foxes. The prolific striker is available for the game tomorrow against Watford and Grayson is delighted with his latest capture;

"Jermaine is a good footballer and he adds something different to the squad. The players we have at the squad all have different qualities and Jermaine is a natural goalscorer, his record speaks for itself. Having that variation in the squad is perfect for me as Manager as it allows the team to adapt to different situations. I want competition for places and the addition of Jermaine gives us strength in depth, hopefully he can help us build on the successful start we have made to this season."
