Lee Novak Out, Nahki Wells In?

Nahki Wells in action for Bradford City
Huddersfield Town are reportedly leading the race to sign highly rated frontman Nahki Wells from Bradford City. The young hot prospect has caught the attention of numerous clubs after Bradford's recent giant killings in the Capital One Cup but its the terriers who are currently looking the most likely to secure the strikers signature.

Wells is not up for sale by Bradford City but its believed that Huddersfield Town are offering a considerable amount of cash as well as Lee Novak which will be a hard offer for Bradford to turn down. Lee Novak is out of contract in the summer and it seems likely that he will be going out of the door in this transfer window as either part of the Wells deal or to another club. Huddersfield will not want to hold onto the striker and allow his contract to run out and ultimately let him to go for a free transfer in the summer.

Lee Novak may well be used as part of the deal to bring
Nahki Wells to the terriers
Nahki Wells has netted 17 times for the Bantams this season and is proving to be the real deal after scoring the opener for Bradford against Aston Villa in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi finals game at Valley Parade. Wells was snapped up on a free by Bradford after being released by Carlisle in 2011 and he is still under contract until 2015 so the ball is very much in the hands of the Bantams.
