Huddersfield Signings Imminent

Speculation of transfers has been floating around the club ever since the extraordinary promotion victory at Wembley on May 26th but today Grayson has stated that himself and the club are close to getting their first couple of signings in this summer transfer window.

Huddersfield Town have been linked with a fair few players in the last couple of weeks including Paul Green, Keith Andrews, Lee Peltier & Snodgrass. Grayson spoke about transfers to the Examiner and this is what he had to say;

"We are making inroads towards our first couple of signings and hopefully others will follow after that. A lot of work is going on behind the scenes and we are trying to get things sorted, but it's not always as easy as people might think."

"We will see how things go, but hopefully we might get something concluded quite quickly. You can never get carried away because sometimes you think you've got a deal done and it all falls apart, but we've been doing some good work and we'd like to announce something quickly to give our fans a new name to talk about."

"We will never rush into a deal for the sake of it and we always want the right people, but we haven't lost out on anyone we are interested in at this stage and we'll hopefully have some new soon."
