Calum Woods On Possible Right Back Position

Calum Woods is all set to appear for Huddersfield Town in the right back position on Saturday due to suspension hit Jack Hunt. It is indeed his natural position but he has been favoured by Grayson on the left hand side this season which has forced him to constantly fight off Paul Dixon for a starting spot. The defender looked ahead at the game against Bristol City at the weekend as well as speaking about his possible playing position;

"That used to be my position, but I suppose most Huddersfield Town fans will know me as a left-back. I feel just as comfortable playing in either position. It goes to show how important it is to be versatile; I fitted the team better as a left-back and I took that opportunity."

The terriers are going into the game off the back of two rather heavy defeats last week but Woods is confident that they can get back on track at their home ground;

"It will be nice to get a win. We have dropped away from the Play-Offs, but we know that we are capable of competing at the top end of the table. We have a good team, we just need to find a little bit of consistency."

Come 3pm on Saturday we will all know the starting XI but would Woods be in it at the right back position if it was up to you? Let us know in the comments below.
