Grayson Unsure On Dixon & Vaughan

Simon Grayson is still sweating on Paul Dixon & James Vaughan's fitness levels after both have small niggles which could possibly put them both out of tomorrows team for the game against Bristol City. Paul Dixon picked up a knock just 14 minutes into the U21 game against Leicester City earlier on in the week whereas Vaughan is still trying to get fully fit after a thigh strain a few weeks ago;

"I'm not one to put a player in simply on the strength of a fitness test on the day of a game. Both of them are responding to treatment, but they will have to do enough today to show they should be considered."

Its not just injuries that are cancelling out players for Grayson's selection tomorrow. Jack Hunt is serving his first match ban of two after abusive language towards the officials against Millwall got the right back a straight red card. On the more extreme hand, Adam Hammill will be available for selection even though he is due to appear in court in the next couple of weeks for two counts of assault. Hammill is out on bail but Grayson will still back his winger until a guilty/not guilty verdict is given;

"It's a great opportunity to get back to winning ways on home territory. Adam has played since and he will continue to be considered for selection. As a club we have co-operated fully with all the relevant parties. Adam has this charge hanging over him and he knows that if he has done wrong, he will be punished. In the meantime, he will continue to work and play for Huddersfield Town."
