Danny Ward and Huddersfield Town have suffered yet another setback as the winger was announced to have obtained a broken metatarsal that will see him sidelined for 6-8 weeks. The winger has missed the past 5 matches due to both a knee injury and illness but Ward caught his foot in training which led to the broken metatarsal.
Huddersfield are without a win in 12 Championship league games now after a heavy 4-0 defeat against Watford at the weekend and Grayson is disappointed to have a player like Ward out of the team due to injury;
"We were working on having Danny back in the side, but he caught his foot awkwardly during a training session. He felt pain so we sent him for a scan which revealed the fracture."
"It means he is out for another six to eight weeks, and that's a setback both for the club and the player."
The injury means Ward will miss a major part of the terriers season as they struggle to climb away from a relegation battle that they are slowly being sucked in towards. Grayson is also feeling the pressure bit insists he is the right man to turn things back around at the club.
